In contrast with the March rank order, when Multishow was rated the preferred pay-TV channel by adults in Ibope Mídia?s survey of metropolitan São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, TNT led the pack in April, followed by Warner and Discovery. Multishow came sixth. The explanation may well be the reality show ?Big Brother Brazil?, aired by Multishow in March. Adults watched ESPN Brazil for longer than any other channel in April. HBO and Telecine Action came next. Children preferred Cartoon (as in March), followed by Nickelodeon and Fox Kids. Preferences for under-18s showed Disney Channel moving up to third place, with Cartoon first and Nickelodeon second once again.
